The Halo Franchise – keeps getting stronger

After the release of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001, the series has sold over 65 million copies worldwide and grossed more than £1.7 billion. The halo franchise was created by Bungie Studios (now part of Microsoft Game Studios). It features a futuristic science fiction setting on distant human-colonized worlds, with battles between technologically advanced superpowers waging all across the galaxy.

What is Halo?

Halo is a science fiction video game franchise created by Bungie and owned by Microsoft. The series centers on an interstellar war between humanity and an alien coalition known as the Covenant. The Covenant are seeking to activate Halo, a ring-shaped artificial world that is also the home of the god-like Forerunners, and wipe out humanity in the process. The main games in the series are: Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo 5: Guardians, and now Halo Infinite. The halo franchise has been a major part of gaming culture since its inception in 2001.

A brief history of the Halo timeline

The halo franchise was created as a result of Bungie Studios’ desire to create an epic science fiction universe for its first person shooter games. It is the first halo game and was released on November 15, 2001. The halo franchise centre’s on an interstellar war between humanity and a theocratic alliance of aliens known as the Covenant.

In the halo franchise, players mainly take control of an elite supersoldier known as a Spartan super soldier, and fight various aliens on foot or with human vehicles. Players can also drive alien vehicles and big mechs in some parts of the halo franchise, Halo has taken the gaming world by storm!

A fun fact: Halo was responsible for making Xbox Live an online service, and was integral to Microsoft’s success during the seventh generation of consoles.

The multiplayer community and where it helps

With the recent release of Halo Infinite, reports are stating that it’s supposedly the most fun game in the series, it’s no doubt multiplayer is a big factor in todays world, every game, release and DLC has some form of interaction with others, and single mode games are becoming far and few.

Multiplayer games can be played locally or online (LAN party’s for the older generation, like me). There are a variety of different multiplayer games available in todays market, including first-person shooters, racing games, and real-time strategy games.

Multiplayer gaming has become increasingly popular in recent years, as more and more people have started to play video games online.

One of the reasons why multiplayer gaming is so popular is because it allows players to socialize with each other. This can be a fun way to meet new people and make friends. Additionally, multiplayer gaming can be a competitive experience that allows players to test their skills against others. This can be an enjoyable way to compete and open the doors to communities of great interests together.

The wrap up with the Master Chief

Halo has been the foundation to many gamers in their past; it’s grown in its own popularity without having to try too hard. It has a great storyline, and the multiplayer is simply awesome. I believe that Halo Infinite will only increase its popularity even more and bring more players together to do the things they love, battle and loot.
